March 03 Amazingest day!Ahhhhhhhhhh yesterday was AWESOME!! Went to watch the dubai tennis championships!! :D :D :D yayyyy, FINALLYYYYY!!! It was greatttt. We planned to watch 2 mathes but got to watch an extra doubles match as well..! When we frist arrived, all the tickets were sold out... we were just like "wat the..!?!" lots of people were standin outside desperately searchin for anyone who had an extra ticket to sell. Me and my sister just stood there all depressed while dad was searchin for tickets. hehe it was funny whenever dad would ask anyone if they had an extra ticket they would get all excited n go like "you have???" n dad would go like "no i need." Luckilyyyy he finally got a ticket and the guy at gate was kind enough to let me n my sis in with one ticket. Rafael Nadal was playing against Tim Henmen at that time. We hurried up the stairs and went in... ahh it was soo cool to see them there...so real! hehehe we were pretty close so could see them very clearly whenever they were at our side... =D its was amazinggg... and the game too was so cool, the way they play... so fast! hehe i mean i've seen them on tv, but watchin it live was way different. Nadal won it..he played reall well... After them the doubles match started, Paes and Damm Vs Christopher and Olivier Rochus. We didn't know they were gonna play, but it was cool. Got to see some really cool tennis. And thennn came Roger Federers match!! He played against Robin Vik (some guy i never saw..!) My sister was going all crazy next to me, she's obsessed over Roger! hehe took lots n lots of pics... The match wasn't very long ... loved the way they play! Lots of cool shots... Anyway, got to see world number 1 and 2 =D Roger and Nadal... We went in after 4 and finished after 8... There was sooo much traffic, it took us over an hour just to get out of the parking lot. Anyway we reached home terribly tired at 1:30 am.. but it was all worth it =D Can' t wait to go back..hehe but obviously thats not possible before next year! Got lots and lots and lots to study now..ughhhh... Roger playing semi-final now :D me off now... February 17 12.5 hours!I made a new record! 12 nd half hours of sleep! Well i think i deserved it after the talent show...hehe. Thank god it went pretty well, although it was kinda rushed and wasn't very long, at least was an hour nd half long...lol more than we expected! Anyway this was the first show so it's ok. Me and bismillah were at the back stage, running around like mad...pretty tiring! Lama and nirm were on stage... good job guys :D. It was a pretty cool experience, but the rehearsels were chaotic! Oh btw nirm, saba dint come yea?? I don't like that guy...! Now the performers...um i liked the band Peppermint, and singing was good..and also some of the dances were cool. International day coming nextt! haha wonder if it's even gonna happen this year.. if it's happening then, crap i don't have anyy ideass for bangladesh!
MARATS COMING TO DUBAI! Woohooo! And i got high chances of going to watch, but but but i doubt i can see one of his matches :( This is gonna be his first tournament after his injury, so its like almost after 6 months his gonna play...and there quite a lot of good players playing there... so if he doesn't reach the quaterfinals i won't be able to see him :( coz i got skool, damn skool! i wish i get to see him.. :( If not this year, then some other year..in dubai or canada or india or china...i don't care, im gonna see him! Only if i lived in dubai, it would have been sooo much easier... *sigh* Anyway, i broke my old record of 12 hours.. waiting for my next record...maybe 13 hours of sleep... hehe. January 31 Chocolate heavenyeaa, me in chocolate heaven now, hehe loaded with chocolatess, well not like willy wonka's factory, but wat i have is good enough for me :D just thought ill let write it down, incase i can make someone jealous :P anyway, i realised im writing in my blog almost after 3 months...woah...laziness. woudn't be amazing if places like these actually existed??!? January 30 updateSoo, i finally decide to update my totally dead space. Kinda in the mood to talk about tennis..hehe, yup the Australian Open. Addy, this is a lil tennis update for you :D well first of all, your fav Mirza din't make it that far this time, she got out in the 2nd round. And Sharapova made it to the semi's but eventually got beaten by Justine Henin Hardenne. Me wanted Justine to make it butt she had to fall ill during the final, darn it. So Amelie Mauresmo won her 1st grand slam. From the men, "fantastic Federer" got it again...his 7th grand slam mann! Sniff..Safin coudn't even play because of his stupid injuries...damn injuries. Marcos Baghdatis played against him, kinda unexpected, that guy was pretty cool...
Noww, i've been enjoying my 2 weeks holiday :D lotts of sleeping...hehe but unfortuately my sleeping heaven will be destroyed in a couple of days... stupid school startin this saturday...ughhh. Kinda want this year to end as soon as possible...not like it's slow, time's passing by pretty fast... Eid would have definitely been way better...
First term finals coming up in 2 weeks..!! Already.... gotta start studying hardd....dads been telling me to do well coz he's gonna start applying for uni's soon.... okayy anyway....im blabbering now....my pc'c still screwed...stupid virus. ok i better go start studying for the maths test... oh, the titles !? coz was too lazy to think...  October 27 Bloggy coming back to lifeAllo! ok i have absolutely NO IDEA what im goin to be writing about, but since some people have been bombarding me with "UPDATE UR BLOG" :P, im trying to bring my blog back to life. hehe sorry guys for the deadness of me blog. okay, so what's new? um, school's pretty much the same, kinda better. But economics exams suck now, wonder when Jimmy (Mr. Germanos) will realise that he needs to make the multiple choice part easier! We're all failing them. And biology sucks as well, who ever the head of biology is thinks that we need to know every single detail in that huge fat AP book. They want to kill us...or as they put it "prepare us for university" Okay maybe they are right, but they should learn to be generous once in a while...! Okies, school aside now. Safin isn't back yet!!! He's still suffering from his stupid knee injury. Hopefully he'll be back soon. He's still the 5th in the world rankings :D though he's 8th now in the ATP ranking. No problemo, once he's back he'll show them where he belongs! :D Can't wait for the holidays!! hope we at least get a week off...okies, take care! September 09 Back to schoolSooo, we're back to school now. Just finished the first week of school, which was pretty busy and surprisingly went by pretty fast! First 1/2 weeks of school usually go by slow. Anyway, school this year is pretty different than last year. There is so less people this year!! It feels very empty-ish at times....unlike last year, when we were so many and we would always joke around, and laugh at the stupidest things...sigh...gone are those days...sniff...
Anyway, this years gonna be tough too, quite a lot of studying to do. Good part is that i've got a lot of free lessons this year!! So can gossip more now..:P hehe i kid. Oh this reminded me of something i read in a magazine once, it said that gossiping was actually good for you! Hehehe...i found that a little weird. Forgot what the article actually said though, but i remember one part said that it's not only the women who do the gossiping, men do a lot of gossiping too!! Hehehehe. But then i guess it's just human nature...all of us do gossip at times.
Okies, a little bit of tennis now. So Hewitt, Agassi, Ginepri and Federer are through to the US Open semi-finals now. Hewitts gonna be playing against Federer...it sure is gonna be a tough match! I want Agassi to win. He's one cool player, 35 and still playing so well! :D This is most probably the last time he's playing in the US Open...so he deserves to win it!!
Aite then, i go get some sleep now...tiredd! August 22 Federer again...!I've been so lazy these days, so slow at updating my blogs.....! Sorry about that. I'm in the mood of talking tennis now :D So all of you non tennis fans...sorry!
So after a 6 weeks break, Roger Federer played in the final of the Cincinnati Masters against Andy Roddick and he won...again! The guy's amazing...seriously. He has won all the last 22 finals he's played! Hehe..poor Roddick, keeps gettin beaten by him! I actually wanted Roddick to win this one...i mean he deserves it! He's been trying so hard :P But anyway, better luck next time Roddick!
My dear Safin hasn't been doing very well lately :( He got out so quick in Wimbledon and also got out in the quater-finals of the Cincinnati Masters :( But that's because he's been having some problem with his knee. Hopefully he'll be all fit and ready to play in US open though, he's got to do well in this one! Anyway, he's been ranked the 4th! woohooo yay! Go safin! You rock!
Ok so the Us open is the next big one...people expecting Federer to win this one too, and the chances are high too. Hmm..but lets wait and see! alrite, umm...well life had been pretty much the same, same old routine everyday....but that isnt gonna last for long...it's almost mid-august...already! time's seriously flying by! and school's gonna start againn. now, i dunno if im happy or sad. i kinda want school to start so ill have somethin to do...nd i kinda don want it to start so dat i can sit home nd relax. wow..hehe, gonna be in grade 12 now..hehe feels weird =D i become big girl. nd then after a year i'll hopefully be off to uni!! (unless im forced to do grade 13, which i so don want to do!) hmmm, watelse...mannu j hope u doin aite now :D oh and addy me listenin to the song u sent me..by Akon...shape man :D oh yeah, o-level results coming out pretty soon...darnn, hope me did well...nd the rest of u too..of course...i ain't selfish :P oh and it's me bro's nd tort's bro's bithday today :D happy birthday! doubt he knows my space even exists...hehe.
oki..take care ppl. July 20 no sleep!? TORTURE!!It was a Thursday, when i woke up at around 9 in the morning. We were going to go to Bangladesh that night. Our flight was at 2 in the morning, so at around 8:30 in the night, we left our house. It took us about 3 hours to reach the airport, and mann was it crowded! After all the luggage was given away and everything was done, we found out that our flight was delayed for 2 hours, so now our flight was at 4am. That's so typical of the Bangladeshi airlines, Biman. That's kinda the only bad part about the airlines...they keep delaying the flights! The flight was first going to stop in Chittagong and then Dhaka, so anoter hour wasted there. A flight from here to Dhaka usually takes around 5 hours. So we reached Dhaka at around 11am Friday, and reached home at 4 in the evening. So a day had already passed without any sleep. I coudn't even get any sleep in the plane. We met everyone after a loong time (3 years and half i think) and so i was kinda excited, didn't want to sleep. We were also waiting for an uncle of mine, who was supposed to arrive from Germany on the same day. I had seen that uncle when i was a baby, so didn't remember him at all...So we were waiting and waiting...he's flight got delayed and stuff and it was already late night, me and my bestest cousin were dead tired, but we were like....lets just wait a little longer for him to arrive, then we can go to bed. So finally at 1am Saturday, my uncle arrived! We hugged and talked a little and after he had eaten dinner, he came up to me and my cousin and said "You guys tired? Dont worry, no ones sleeping tonight!" We were like WHAT?! We were dying for sleep, and he says no ones sleeping tonight?! NOOO! He started unpacking and getting out all the gifts he had bought for us....Hours passed by, and it was already dawn when they finally decided to get some sleep! So after almost 2 days of no sleep, i quickly jumped into my bed and fell fast asleep!
(During holiday i always get at least 10-12 hours of sleep everyday...So 2 days no sleep might be nothing for some people...but for me, no sleep plus all that travelling was pure torture! I lovee sleeping :D) July 14 long time no write..Hmmm...long time no write. Well didn't really do much today. Woke up late, watched an old match of Safin they were showing on tv, had lunch and then....and then yup, listened to music, and talked with tamanna. And then at 4pm i was back on the sofa again :D for a little nap! Woke up at 5pm. And then i went to the supermarket with me daddy and mommy (hehe i sound like a lil kid going to shop wid their parents :P) Then daddy droped me at tamanna's house. We met up with sabrine to go to see a movie. It was a hindi movie...called Sarkar...hmm wasn't bad actually. Saw a hindi movie after quite a long time. Sometimes just go to watch them to kill time. Remember once i went to watch a movie with tamanna and i didnt even have a clue about wat movie we were gonna watch....got to know the name on the way...:D Surprisingly the movie was only 2 hours! hehe...amazing, they're usually longer. So now im home, listening to "Poth Chola"...an amazing bengali song by Artcell. And then i'll prolly will try to learn something on me guitar...and then off to bed! Mannu, nirmal leaving tomorrow i think, did you get to meet her!? (last time u'll be seeing her...sniff sniff) July 04 HAT TRICKHe did it! Roger Federer won Wimbledon for the third consecutive time! Woah, that's an extremely great achievement, very few players actually did that. The guys got some real talent. He's truly an amazing player...he's almost like the "perfect" player...He definitely is one of the greatest tennis players ever! Congratulations Federer! Hope he keeps playing such great tennis :D
June 30 "What will happen to you in the future!?"hello everyone, sorry for not updating my blog! Yesterday when i was sitting peacefully, staring out the window, my mommy came with a bangla book and said "Start reading", im like...noooo, not now! Since we never learnt bangla in school properly, we are forced to do some reading every summer holiday to make sure we aren't forgetting it. I only studied bangla from grades 5 to 7, and in grade 5 they taught us extremely easy bangla, seriously easy stuff, the books were of grade 1 and 2....:D i always used to get A's and A*'s....hehe it was fun in the beginning, but then in grade 6 and 7 it got harder and harder...though we were only doing books normally made for grade 3 and 4...my two other classmates had loads of fun while i struggled to catch up with them...argghh, it was horrible! I dropped to C's and B's...:D Well, i kinda regret not knowing bangla that well, even my parents keep telling us "What will happen to you when u have to live alone in bangladesh??" :S Though i can speak it alright and know how to read a little (but im still slow at reading...), when it comes to the hard words (not exactly hard for the people who use them) im just blank...and mann it can get embarrassing at times, when you keep stopping the person to explain the meaning of a word! I can't even understand many of the bengali songs i listen too...hehe and the news on tv, hardly understand what they say. Hmm...it isn't very nice....and tamanna, stop making fun of the way i talk! gadhi :P Anyway, i didn't read no bangla yesterday :D bad i know...i was too lazy. But i coloured the pictures instead! (since it was a book for 4th graders, it had pictures :P)
June 22 :Dhey bloggy, me back.... well, me was watching the brazilian footballer, Kaka play today and so i got to see him more properly today....hehehe...and azi you were absolutely right, he's extremely good looking! :D nice nice. Safins playing against Philippoussis today at Wimbledon...:( can't watch, the stupid sports channel ain't showing it....just hope Safin wins...please please please Safin win!! Anyway, im finally gonna get a guitar!!! yayy! Alothough its just gonna be a cheap acoustic one to begin practicing with...i can finally learn how to play it! I tried playing some songs on da piano, but got bored of it really quickly...(yes mannu...i dont touch the piano anymore) me just want da guitar :D hopefully i won't get bored of playing the guitar too...i doubt it though. June 15 drugs...I was thinking about people who do drugs, it's sad...how they end up depending on them to live...how they would do anything at all to get the money to buy them. Even in movies, when they show how someone's addicted to drugs and is struggling to get drugs...it's horrible to see what they have to go through... In some places, hospitals give out free needles to anyone if they go ask for it..this is to prevent drug addicts from getting AIDS by sharing needles. But what's da use...i mean like if those people are still doing drugs they're gonna end up dying anyway, so why waste the money when they could do something better with it...well that's what i think :D To me even smoking's really stupid...i mean hello people...YOU'RE KILLING YOURSELF!! Every cigarette you smoke reduces five minutes of your life, that is what i've learnt in bio :D yeah..some people do it just to feel "cool" hehehehe...well, i admit even i felt like trying it...you know..just to know what it's like...but still, im totally against it. Aite me go now, almost finished listening to the first album of Black after a long time :D (Black's a bengali rock band...) June 10 NirvanaReally cool band they are :D I was listening to them today after quite a long time...Kurt CObains voice is excellent, and of course so is their music. I came across something interesting few weeks ago in this forum, they were talking about Kurts death. They say that when Kurt was found dead, the morphine level in his blood was three times the amount needed to kill someone, so how could he pick up a gun and shoot himself? :s They suspect that his wife, Courtney, might have killed him, because while all this happened Kurt was in the process of divorcing his wife, Courtney. She would be left with no money if that happened...There's a lot more that proves that kurt could not have killed himself. Hmmm...weird...so did Kurt commit suicide?? Or was he murdered?! I always thought he killed himself...but im not sure now though. Anyway, here are some my favourite Nirvana songs :D Smells like team sprit Nirvanas drummers in the band Foo Fighters now...:D I like them too...the song "All my life" is really cool song. And Nirvana's awesome :D PS. Notice I wrote in proper english today :D No "da" instead of "the" or no "dis" instead of "this"...:D Me become good girl... June 06 Laziness..im getting lazier and lazier these days....cant believe im getting so lazy! my mom had to tell me to clean my room for almost a week before i actually started to..hehe although its not completely tidied yet...still have hundreds of books lying around my table and so many clothes lying around...wen im just a metre away from my closet i go like "nah..im too lazy" and i just end up keeping the clothes in my bed....bad bad...laziness is very bad...but well, dats wat happens when u got nothing to do rite?! no..hehe im just trying to find excuses...im worng i know...so i should start planning things to do... today i did do something kinda interesting though anyway ill go now... |

i opened up an adaptor and checked out the inside...well i was able to recognise the transformer and the resistors and the transistor..though me daddy had to tell me which one da transistor was....but still, i did learn something from physics wid ms.Irina :D even she's leaving...she really is a very good teacher...|
